                                               STUDY IN INDIA
                              2022

Education is emerging to be one of the top focuses of all the developing nations around the world. The ‘Study in India (SII)’ is a flagship project under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It was launched in April 2018 by the former Minister of External Affairs, late. Smt. Sushma Raj and former Minister of Education (formerly, Ministry of Human Resource Development) Shri. Prakash Javadekar.

The Study in India program seeks to endorse India as a prime education hub for international students by inviting them to pursue their higher education in the country and experience the best of what Indian education has to offer. The program encourages them to explore valuable educational opportunities provided by the top Indian universities.

The added advantage of the program is quality assurance wherein it partners up with institutes that have National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation of 3.26 and above or that are ranked among the top 100 institutes by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). All institutes fulfilling the above criteria, partner with Study in India, including Institutes of Eminence and Institutes of National Importance.

The program is currently offering approximately 2,00,000 seats with more than 90,000 tuition fee waivers (ranging from 25%,50% & 100%) and scholarships, with each scholarship valued at USD 3,500. Indian institutes provide technical expertise across a diverse range of courses, from STEM to non-STEM courses, and include programs in disciplines such as Yoga, and Buddhist Studies
